Start with the family’s needs
A responsible ration drive assesses need and plans suitable food support. Distribution should be respectful and avoid public disclosure of families’ identities. CPF’s Ramadan and Eid cause is available for inquiries; active drive dates have not yet been published.
Confirm the contents and budget
Ask about flour, rice, oil, pulses and other necessities, the quantity per household, and current costs. Do not assume that a suggested donation buys a whole monthly package until the team confirms the price.
Specify your giving intention
Choose Sadaqah, Zakat or Ration Sponsorship as appropriate. Zakat and Fitrana have specific rules and must not be treated as interchangeable with general donations. Consult a trusted scholar and confirm how your donation will be allocated.
