Start with eligibility
Zakat is an obligation with specific recipient categories. Assess need respectfully, and consult a trusted scholar where eligibility is uncertain. Being an orphan or an elder alone does not automatically establish Zakat eligibility.
Ask before you transfer
Ask an organization how it identifies recipients, separates Zakat from other donations, and records distribution. Verify account details by calling a known number. CPF states its commitment to deliver 100% of Zakat to eligible recipients; ask our team about the allocation process before giving.
Keep a record
Keep your transfer receipt and specify that your donation is Zakat. Our donation form records your intention and receipt; the team must still verify payment.
